Socorro NM
71 degrees forgot how hard it is to be in below freezing weather in a RV.
Especially after being on the beach 9 days ago.

7000 feet and freezing
We had the welcome to the mountain snow when we got here.
Only 40 degrees and more snow for tonight.
Best news is no tornado warnings.
Loving the mountains and the pines.
Gonna find some elk tomorrow.

No safe place to walk
The "River Walk" walks you right into the river or storm sewer canal.
After we were afraid to walk through another sewer culvert we turned around and heard 3 gun shots. Wasn't me!
Strange place.......
Must be the aliens.

Corpus Christi to Ft Stockton
475 miles though rain, thunderstorms and tornados.
Back to safe weather !!!!!!
I already miss the humidity we went from 90+% to 23% here.....sucks!
Well I guess we're going to shop New Mexico.
Pictures to come.
Run like a girl!
Did you ever wonder how long you could be threatened by tornadoes before saying "I've had enough"?
I know how long we can deal with it.
3 nights of warnings in less that a week.
Yep we are heading back to Arizona!
Maybe see Florida in September.

Blue Angels
Practice for the airshow this weekend.
That is a beautiful thing!
They are over the motorhome and not to far over the motorhome.

Padre Island National Seashore
What a mess!
This looks like this from the entrance and least a few miles down.
There is so much tree branches, trees, drift wood and just plain trash all over the beaches here.
Disgusting!!!!!!!
Damaged goods
Enough wind to bend a stop sign over to a 45° angle.
The sea wall had 40' spashes taller than the telephone poles.
Alot of camping gear and grills spread acrossthe area. And I'm talking big smoker/grills and patio sets.
RV awnings from slide outs and patio awnings flapping like surrender flags.
Finally its almost past us.
That sucked too!
